Start the day with a bath
A shower always refreshes your mood and body and you will be ready to start any type of work. But always remember that never take a bath with cold water when your body's internal temperature is high due to hot waves/weather. Leave the body to sweat out and dissipate the excessive heat from the body to the environment automatically.
Cloth choice
Your wardrobe choice is very important in sunny weather. Use light-weighted, lights colored fabrics in the summer season. White color is the one whose reflection of sun rays is maximum and is a poorer absorber of heat. Always choose such type of fabric which faster the evaporation process during sweat and make your body cool.
Hydration level and light food
Always keep your body's hydration level high. Take water and any other light drink after every half an hour. This will keep you fresh. Dehydration means reduce in body fluid and thus the function of electrolytes is disturbed. Electrolytes are minerals like sodium, calcium, and potassium and are found in foods and drinks we take. Be sure not to take dehydrated drinks like coffee, tea, alcohol, and other caffeinated drinks. These can hurt more than helping you.
Use of Sunglasses
Using Proper Sun protection glasses is necessary for eye health and vision. Sunglasses protect your eyes from the Ultraviolet rays of the sun. Our eye’s cornea and retina can be damaged by sun rays and could be resulted in a loss of vision in severe conditions. In some conditions, the UV rays of the sun can cause tissue growth on the white part of the eye ultimately resulting in blurry distance vision and other discomforts also. Moreover, some other eye diseases can be accelerated by often exposure of eyes to UV rays of the sun. Therefore it is a necessary action to cover up your eyes and limit your exposure to UV rays of the sun in hot weather
Manage your work according to weather hotness
Your performance of work is directly attached to your physical fitness. So always manage your outdoor work with the condition of the weather. Take a break when you are exhausted. Take a short rest after lunch. Plan your outdoor activities in the early morning or evening. Your work can be rearranged but your health could not be. So always prefer and care your health and fitness during the work routine in hot season.
